Stacked with Daniel Negreanu
If you've thought about falling in with the Texas Hold'em Poker crowd but feel the process of learning the severely nuanced card game would be an embarrassing experience, or if the idea of "No Limit" poker just scares you, get Stacked.
Featuring Daniel "Kid Poker" Negreanu, Stacked not only offers rock solid poker training with a genuinely helpful tutor, but tournament-style games in which to play against a glut of plausible poker player styles; aggressive, passive, tight, devious, dumb... all fake, computer generated, and nothing to be embarrassed about if they school you. What's more, once you settle into the groove and start holding your own, the game's artificial intelligence will note that groove and then kick it up a notch, making gameplay a constant challenge but never impossibly daunting.
Then you take it online and play against real players remotely, which is still less embarrassing than the real thing while offering some graduate-school sort of pressure. Then you go to buddy's house with a shiny deck of Bicycles and play for real, with confidence.
There are a lot of quick and crappy poker videogames cashing in on the poker craze these days; Stacked is not one of them.
