Warioware Touched!
Befitting the quick fix fun factor of portable gaming, Warioware Touched does not offer a singular gameplay experience but, rather, a huge collection of speedy mini games to be played at any old stolen moment.
While similar to the manic twitch fest of its predecessor, Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Microgames$ on Game Boy Advance, this DS version represents a huge step up to next level of Warioware, mainly due to the "Touched" element in the game's primary interface. You use the stylus or your fingers and thumbs to smudge, drag, tap, smear or draw your way through most of its 180 interactive activities. Played sequentially and then instantly accessible once completed, each mini game lasts but a few seconds. Several of them incorporate the voice activation function of the Nintendo DS, where you'll have to blow on the thing as part of the game, which will make you look goofy when playing in public, unless you pretend you're just clearing a bit of dust off.
At any rate, the games are all amusing, sometimes hilarious (you have to pee on a fire at one point) and always exactly the type of rapid fire distraction needed when waiting in a line up, riding on the bus or bored in the board room.
TIP: After you beat every character in WarioWare Touched!, a piece of garlic will appear on the character selection screen which you can drag onto Wario and turn him into Wario Man.
