WTF (Work Time Fun)
Here's one way to make an ass out of you and your umption: make the assumption that PSP owners a) get off on the lewd and low-brow, b) don't know shinola from a hole in the ground, and c) have nothing better to spend their money on. Like a roll of toilet paper. WTF?

It's hard to say who D3 had in mind when they published WTF (Work Time Fun) for the PlayStation Portable. Perhaps middle-aged executives and similar "ungamers" who bought a PSP just to look cool. Maybe the moms and dads of teens who confiscated the PSP and thought they might give it whirl, if only there was something simple to play on it. But certainly not the typical PSP owner who probably bought Sony's super duper pocket system expecting games that flout the thing's major muscle and multimedia mojo.

WTF is just a Warioware wannabe, a collection of quickie puzzles and non-quick, oft monotonous minigames, all pretending to have a linear purpose of earning money so you can unlock and access still more puzzles and minigames.

All told, WTF is pretty indicative of the whole "gray gamer" genre, some it quite quirky and charmingly addictive; a lot of it rather rude, crude and tasteless -- which is still funny, but lacking something... like taste.

But mostly it's just a sad knock-off of Nintendo gaming found on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS, which are also less expensive system and software platforms and, in the latter case, more mechanically conducive to such interactive brain teasing, puzzle and minigames.

Give Johnny his PSP back.
