As imitation is apparently the sincerest form of flattery, EA pours it on with Simpsons Road Rage, a blatant knock off of the world's nuttiest cab-driving game(s), Crazy Taxi.

It's exactly "Crazy Taxi in Springfield," in fact, where all your favorite Homerian characters are self-style cabbies out to make a fast buck with complete disregard for rules of the road; or rules of the sidewalk for that matter.

It's just as fun and outlandish as you'd expected, a definite showcase for the graphic oomph in each new-generation console and all steeped in authentic Sprinfieldalia. It's a total knock off, but it's a very good knock off. Ergo, not a rip off.
