Turner Broadcasting's broadband entertainment network, GameTap (casual and classic games to play, news to read), recently announced winners of its first annual "E3 2006 GameTap Picks" awards as gleaned from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 10th – May 12th.
EA's forthcoming Spore (PC) won for Best Overall; Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC/Wii) took honors as Best Adventure Game; Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed (PS3) for Best Action Game; and LucasArts' LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (multiplatform) for Best Kids/Family Game. GameTap Picks covered a total of 21 categories with several ties for "best."
