Top Selling PC Games of March, '06
The NPD Group has released its list of the top selling PC Games for the month of March, 2006. As usual, Vivendi's World of Warcraft still struts its stuff some 17 months after it launched while EA's The Sims franchise dominates with four different showings, even besting the wildfire that is Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Of course, Oblivion only came available in the last week of March, whereas top retail seller The Sims 2 Open For Business Expansion Pack had the whole month to tally up. And we're talking PC games here, not consoles, where Oblivion for Xbox 360 is blowing the socks off all others. But that's another story. Here's this one:
1. The Sims 2 Open For Business Expansion Pack (Electronic Arts)
2. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion (Take 2)
3. Star Wars: Empire At War (LucasArts)
4. Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (Atari)
