Academy Awards of the interactive kind
During the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, presented by The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) and held earlier in February, top honors went to Call of Duty 4, Bioshock and The Orange Box. The Academy also inducted Mike Morhaime, president, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, best known for World of Warcraft, into the AIAS Hall of Fame. Ken Kutaragi, former president and CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
