Not content to make a gazillion dollars out of the console market, Activision just announced that Guitar Hero: On Tour will be coming to Nintendo DS this summer.

While that may sound like a cheap little stylus based knock-off of cash cow proportions, it's actually better than just that.

The game will be packaged with a custom made Guitar Hero Guitar Grip peripheral that fits into the DS, plus a unique Guitar Hero pick-stylus that will allow the core gameplay that defines Guitar Hero -- i.e. an air guitar game except with a fake guitar in lieu of air -- available authentically in portable format.
