San Jose-based online game publisher GamesCampus is holding multiple online events from March 19th through April 24 for the company's open beta (free, pre-release user testing) of MLB Dugout Heroes, the forthcoming micro-transaction based baseball game.

Anyone who signs up at www.MLBDugoutHeroes.com, creates and then plays a team up to level 3 or higher will be automatically entered into a draw to win 2 tickets to see a real MLB team playing real regular season baseball in real life at the nearest real stadium - or the furthest real stadium, but transportation and accommodation is not part of the deal.

Other prizes for achieving specific goals or simply continuing to play include custom caps by New Era, personalized T's, replica jerseys and quite a few virtual prizes, including 400,000 nuts... or rather, NUTS, the game's in-game currency.
