Pink torpedoes and flesh tuxedos are coming to Rock Band, no threat of being crushed by a dwarf.

These days, new songs coming available to MTV Games' Rock Band is about as newsworthy as Febreze coming out with a new scent. But with the release of new songs from "the world's loudest band," Spinal Tap, even the apathetic are sitting up, taking notice, and saving their gum for later.
Harmonix and MTV Games today announced they will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the theatrical release of Rob Reiner's mockumentary/rockumentary, This is Spinal Tap, by making available newly recorded versions of the songs featured in the cult classic film and its 1984 soundtrack album.
Naturally, where everyone else might releases 10 songs for Harmonix's fake musician game, the Spinal Tap set list goes to 11, available in the Rock Band Music Store next week for PlayStation3, Wii, and Xbox 360 for $2 apiece.
Forget what you know about the oldies from Smell the Glove (aka the none-more-black album), however, as each song has been re-recorded and in some cases complete re-arranged - or "newly interpreted" - as peeled from the master recordings of Spinal Tap's latest joke-milking CD, Back From The Dead.
Officially, the playlist looks like this: "(Funky) Sex Farm"; "(Listen to the) Flower People (Reggae Stylee)"; "America"; "Big Bottom"; "Cups and Cakes"; "Gimme Some Money"; "Heavy Duty"; "Hell Hole"; "Rock 'n' Roll Creation"; "Stonehenge"; and the splendidly redundant "Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight".
